About 404 & More

About 404 & More

Documentation is the backbone of any successful MSP, but it’s often the first thing to go out of date.

404 & More was born out of a simple reality: the best solutions usually live in a tech’s private notes or a half-finished ticket, not the official manual. This site is a dedicated knowledge base for Tier 1 and Tier 2 Managed Service Provider (MSP) technicians who need quick, verified, and "no-fluff" solutions to real-world IT problems.

The Mission

The goal is to bridge the gap between "I think I fixed it" and "I documented the standard operating procedure." I take the workflows, PowerShell scripts, and troubleshooting steps I use in my daily life as an MSP tech and refine them into digestible guides for you.

Who Is This For?

  • Tier 1 Techs: Looking for fast "How-To" guides to close tickets and keep their KPIs high.
  • Tier 2 Techs: Looking for automation scripts, deep-dive fixes, and infrastructure tips.
  • The Overworked: Any IT professional who just wants the answer without a 10-minute preamble.

Meet the 404 "Team"

AmaFounder, COO, Tech & Documentation Lead

I’m currently work in the MSP space, managing everything from O365 migrations to server outages. Like you, I’ve spent too many hours digging through old forums looking for a specific registry fix or a command-line switch... or, as of recently, begging Gemini for an answer that isn't completely made up.

I started 404 & More to turn my internal documentation into a public resource. I believe that when we share our fixes, the whole "channel" gets better. When I'm not writing scripts or recording tutorials, I’m probably troubleshooting my own home lab or trying to figure out why the office coffee machine is showing a "DNS Error."

Why "404 & More"?

In networking, a 404 means something is missing. In the MSP world, what's usually missing is clear, concise documentation that actually works in the field. The "More" is the solution.
