Welcome to 404 & More. By accessing our website or creating a subscriber account, you agree to the following terms. This site is built by an IT professional for IT professionals.

1. "Use at Your Own Risk" Clause (Liability)

All content on 404 & More, including troubleshooting guides, PowerShell scripts, registry edits, and tutorials, is provided "as-is" for educational and informational purposes only.

  • Test Before Deploying: It is your responsibility as a technician to test any scripts or fixes in a lab environment before deploying them to a production or client environment.
  • No Liability: Under no circumstances shall 404 & More or its owner be held liable for any data loss, hardware damage, network downtime, or lost revenue resulting from the use of our content.

2. User Accounts & Subscriptions

A. Account Security: If you create a free or paid account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
B. Subscription Tiers: 404 & More currently offers free subscriptions. We reserve the right to introduce paid "Premium" tiers, or modify the features included in the free tier, at any time.
C. Payments & Cancellations: For any future paid tiers, payments will be securely processed via Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account portal. Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your current billing cycle. Refunds are not provided for partial months.
D. Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, share login credentials, or abuse the platform.

3. No Professional Helpdesk Relationship

Subscribing to 404 & More (free or paid) grants you access to our documentation library. It does not include one-on-one IT support. We do not provide SLA-backed support, emergency assistance, or specific ticket resolutions.

4. Intellectual Property

The documentation, original scripts, and video content on this site are the intellectual property of 404 & More.

  • Permitted Use: You may use and modify our scripts in your daily professional work at your MSP or organization.
  • Prohibited Use: You may not scrape, republish, sell, or package our content or scripts as your own product without written permission.

Our documentation may link to third-party tools, vendor sites, or GitHub repositories. We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their safety. 404 & More may participate in affiliate programs and earn a commission on tools recommended on the site at no extra cost to you.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Significant changes will be communicated to subscribers via email. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

7. Governing Law

The laws of California govern these terms.
